SAMASTIPUR: The situation in Samastipur railway division of EC Railway has further aggravated following the breaches at five more places and washing of three pillars of bridge no 5 situated between Kurwachainpur and Barganla railway stations.

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal"><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">SAMASTIPUR: The situation in Samastipur railway division of EC Railway has further aggravated following the breaches at five more places and washing of three pillars of bridge no 5 situated between Kurwachainpur and Barganla railway stations on Sunday.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">The movement of trains has been stopped between Mansi and Saharsa railway stations as the flood water is threatening the bridge situated near Dhamaraghat railway station.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">Samastipur DRM VK Bahmani said the rake which was sent to Bargania for restoration work could not reach the place.

He said that he has requisitioned 400 more persons for assisting the rescue work and restoration work in the division.</span><br /><br /><span style="" font-family:="" arial="" font-size:="">The DRM further said that teams of doctors have stationed at Darbhanga railway station to provide medical aid in case of emergency. This rail division is losing about 70 per cent of its revenue daily, he added.</span></div> </div>
